My studio space is in the Sunshine Coast/ Noosa region in Queensland.  My glass art is warm glass work that is primarily freeform pieces for colour and aesthetics; and others whose focus is geometric to include the challenge of precision, whilst allowing for the movement of glass when fired. Some of my work has an art deco feel to it, as I find that this style lends itself to my type of glass work. Often my works are shaped as platters. There are also items that are purely decorative on stands to be displayed as objet d’art. The simplist items require approx. two firings, with the more complicated items requiring six firings. Most of my firing processes last 24 hours.

 If you click on each of the photographs in the other pages, you can inspect the work in more detail. Photographs have generally been taken outdoors in the sun, and hence there are shadows under some work.  The descriptions for each work provide some indication as to how they have been made. 

These items are great as wedding gifts, birthday gifts, for Christmas, and as presentation gifts. They are also suitable as handmade art display items for home decor.
